Guest xkonni Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 Hi all, Seeing as HTC are accepting hardware based errors with devices, What is the best way to backup your apps and settings and texts, etc before unlocking the boot loader (Which does a factory reset) ? Thanks you can do a nandroid backup and/or use titanium backup. google backs up most settings/apps but restore does not work on every custom rom. texts are in /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db - you back it up and restore later.

(Im guessing I can :D) No I cant  Any other ideas ?? Edited February 13, 2010 by Ntt4

Thanks unlock and flash amon_ra recovery. if you want cm anyway, no need to flash superboot before. thats for root on otherwise stock devices.
