Running Nexus system.img in SDK emulator

Hi

Anyone have any luck getting the Nexus system.img to run? I've set up a new AVD and placed the system.img file in the ~/.android/avd/<AVD name>.avd directory (I'm on a Mac by the way), but every time I boot the AVD sticks at the bios Android logo. I've tried setting the device physical RAM to 512Mb but that hasn't helped either...

Any suggestions?

the sdk emulator is an ARMv5 and Nexus One has ARMv7 cpu :D
