Hello all,

I have noticed that many people are using the HTC hero theme whilst using Open/Panda home. Yesterday I came across another home replacement, PandaHero. It is a new home replacement that looks virtually identical to the HTC Sense home screen (minus the widgets). The colours are identical as is the layout of the buttons (menu, phone, widget).

There is a free version, or for $3.99 you can upgrade to pro which removes some adverts etc and allows the use of PandaHome widgets.

Anyway, just thought I would let people know about it if they didn't.

Michael.

I like it!

But just a question, how do you make the PandaHero homescreen as default on the 1.7 Custom T-Mobile ROM.

When i can figure this out, I wont mind supporting it and buying the app. :D

I only use the stock rom at the moment, I am waiting for a replacement handset to be sent out by t-mobile to me afterwhich I will use custom rom. But i found that if you install pandahero then restart your phone, when it starts up again it will ask which homescreen app you want to use and will allow you to set one as the default. Just choose Pandahero and enable the tick box.

I am liking this - hopefully more widgets coming soon?

Easy to use and looks great.

Will certainly consider upgrading if there's going to be continued support.

There is an app called Home Switcher on the Market. It will do as you require.

Anybody got any pictures of this?

Cheers
