Guest laxxe Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Hi! I get this error when trying to unlock a Orange SPV. I've unlocked alot, only this one makes trouble: Retrieving SPV Unlock Code : 66 %- Invalid code - Aborting It has bootloader 0.95 Any ideas?
Guest v1nn1e Posted April 1, 2003 Report Posted April 1, 2003 Have a look at the main sim lock thread. other people had this problem. http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic...6&highlight=sim
Guest Arisme Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Upgrade or downgrade your bootloader version
Guest laxxe Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 @v1nn1e Ohh, I've looked there already - but now I've found it. Seems like nobody has a solution :-/ @Arisme Why do you think this should work? Have you tried it? 0.95 should work fine with this, right? I'm pretty sure I unlocked other SPVs with it. Thanks for your time...
Guest laxxe Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Yes, I'm having an unlockbusiness, which people can use if they want. I now it's possible to repair a car myself, but I don't - since I don't know a thing about cars (besides how to drive them), then I'll pay for it. That's exactly the same with my business - you can pay me if you want to use my service - and you're welcome to do it yourself! That's the facts, and I heard someone saying "if you havent got anything nice to say; dont bother".
Guest James Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 laxxe, i will unlock it for you for £500
Guest laxxe Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 I really don't know what to say to your posting. If you don't wanna help, then just don't...

Guest midnight Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 laxxe, richie wasnt being funny with you, you'll notice the "if you havent got anything nice to say; dont bother" quote is in his sig, he wasnt directing it at you  as for no replies, maybe its cos no-one knows how to fix your problem?
Guest laxxe Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 @midnight: I know that it was his signature - but he was doing the opposite of what he thinks people should do (if you read his signature). Well - I've got a reply that says I should try with another bootloader...
Guest Richie M Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 Midnight, my first post wasn't very nice :( when it was pointed out to me that i was being unfair I apologised and deleted the text in it  Hopefully not too many people saw it and Laxxe hasn't taken offence  (hope the new bootloader works Laxxe ;))

Guest terminater2_uk Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 ok now i'm confused  and why everytime i post do i automatically start watching a topic grrrrrr
Guest Shuflie Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 ok now i'm confused  and why everytime i post do i automatically start watching a topic grrrrrr Because you have it set up in your profile to do it?
Guest Arisme Posted April 2, 2003 Report Posted April 2, 2003 well, I think it was set somehow in my profile because I didn't enable it  and yes, try to upgrade or downgrade your bootloader, it can't harm - or if you"re sure that you've already unlocked SPVs having this bootloader version, then this one has a problem
Guest sibakero Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 If I downgrade my bootloader to V0.98, will I lose all my data, phonebook, etc? Where can I download the V0.98 bootloader? Thanks...
Guest Monolithix [MVP] Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 0.93 is the "optimum" version, and no, it shouldn't affect the IPSM ROM image.
