Guest DeepBlueEditor Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 Hey all. In searching for a dialer or better way to connect to Google Voice and make an outgoing call, just try this from your standard dialer... Under the contact you will call through Google Voice, in the Pager number option, put in the following info exactly as I have it below- googlenumber,pin,2,contactsnumber# As an example (totally ficticious) - 2125551212,1234,2,2105551212# This dials your google number, the "," is a pause code followed by 2 which tells google voice you are placing an outgoing call, (pause) the outgoing number followed by a DTMF "#" Works for me. You can listen to it hitting the keys for you. You may for some reason need to add more than one "," where needed but for me, single pauses are right. All this goes back to modem dialing days and calling cards too. A simple comma is a pause and in the Pager section, "#" is correctly passed as a DTMF tone. Now you do have to go through your contacts and add another numbe for each one but it is then integrated into your standard dialer. Pagers are pretty much a thing of the past so you should know that if you have a pager number listed, it's an outgoing Google Voice number. So there is the simplest way without adding another dialer to get out through Google Voice. Sean
