I tried to flash my phone part with the phone.bin then when it was almost at 100% my pc screwed up and restarted!! Well the pda starts but it can not start the phone process anymore! I click on turn phone "on" and it nothing happens, it trys but thats all.... Now if I use originally extracted pda.bin; eboot.nb0; customer.csc and phone.bin from the official DXIA5.....open them with UMDL Grandprix v1.8.6 for XP, diactivate the "Allow USB connections" in ActiveSync and get following: OnDeviceChange:DBT_DEVTYP_DEVICEINTERFACE (1) Device name:6&22194588&0&1 PDA Device 1 detected. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PDA 1 starts downloading... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EBOOT will be written. Guest dannych99 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 You should flash phone.bin part with Grandprix under XP with a laptop. It seems the com port cannot be found! Try use a phone.exe. Hope you do not brick it. :D

I also tried with my laptop, which has XP....but still the same error...it just does not recognize it as Samsung CDMA Modem.....not as any modem by fact.....it always says PDA Detected and when it trys to change usb to COM0 it restarts and gives an error ((( guys what now?! :D :lol: 1. ActiveSync is installed 2. Samsung Drivers installed 3. All apps are closed

Guest Mr. Sergey Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 I had very similar trouble with you, I could not flash my phone part had the same reports of mistake. Than I open Activesync and checked thе check box "allow USB connection" (not sure about English version, I have Russian one). As a result I have successfully flashed my new Phone part.
