Guest Dr. dre Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Is there any way of installing HTC WWE RUU on a T-Mobile G2 Touch which is unlocked, because of the warranty purpose and I don't want to install a T-Mobile RUU or else i have to do the Goldcard method to downgrade for flashing custom recovery image later on.
Guest Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Get hold of an old T-Mobile firmware, perhaps?
Guest subhramani Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Whats a gold card method? And you have warranty for a T-Mobile phone in India? :-s
Guest subhramani Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Sorry for double posting....You can flash a WWE RUU as long as you have an unlocked SPL, or it would come up with a message saying "Customer ID Error" or something. As long as you have an unlocked SPL, you can install any RUU and you can use the unlockr version of rooting, which is just putting a new recovery image. I think this works for all RUU's.

Guest subhramani Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Sweet. So all you have to do is make sure you have an unlocked SPL and install WWE.

Guest subhramani Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 How's it though? I found it to be super slow. So I am back to Modaco 3.1.

Actually i just have 7 to 8 apps so it's good so far and plus i keep killing task's every next hour so it's good and i think that's the reason for the performance.
