Is there any way of installing HTC WWE RUU on a T-Mobile G2 Touch which is unlocked, because of the warranty purpose and I don't want to install a T-Mobile RUU or else i have to do the Goldcard method to downgrade for flashing custom recovery image later on.

Sorry for double posting....You can flash a WWE RUU as long as you have an unlocked SPL, or it would come up with a message saying "Customer ID Error" or something.

As long as you have an unlocked SPL, you can install any RUU and you can use the unlockr version of rooting, which is just putting a new recovery image.

I think this works for all RUU's.

When i went to the service center, they told told me that this thing has a global warranty which i will only get if i have the genuine HTC software installed so i thought i'll install the HTC WWE RUU.

Sweet. So all you have to do is make sure you have an unlocked SPL and install WWE.

Installed 2.73.405.5 RUU, working perfectly thanks for the solution.

How's it though? I found it to be super slow. So I am back to Modaco 3.1.

Actually i just have 7 to 8 apps so it's good so far and plus i keep killing task's every next hour so it's good and i think that's the reason for the performance.
