Does anyone know how to fix this isssue? I did this flash May 2009. And have had time to mess around to change it but am not yet successful.

I tried downloading the camera.exe from the omnia geocaching post but I cannot get the new .exe to overwrite the old one. I am also leary becauser the

file size is smaller than the original. If someone could point me in the right direction and fix this issue I will be indebted to you.

Thank you!

I'm guessing that you flashed to verizon CF03 update way back then.

If so you may want to look at a newer rom than May 2009.

Read the i910 rom thread for some info.

:D :D

if you want it to overwrite the .exe you have to move it into the windows folder using total commander or a program of the like.

Thank you. I know I will have to back up everything valuable I have accumulated on my phone before I flash it with something newer. I really want to customize my own ROM however the time involved learning to do so will most likely drive my wife crazy. I noticed there are a few people making it easier to do just that. I will keep following their progress and when I build up some more confidence I will try it. There are a couple of ROMs I would love to flash I am just to lazy to back everything up at the moment. I should just get it over with. Again, Thank you.

Thank you. I did try it into the windows folder and it would not let me. I will take your advice and find this total commander program and try this. I hope it works. If not I will jsut flash it with someones custom ROM. I kind of feal like getting a little crazy. :D

I just finished overwriting the camera exe and it did add the gps option. I can do some geo tagging out here in Montana. However I still cannot change the resolution from 320/240 to anything else. Thank you again for the Total Commander tip.
