In this folder create device-named folder and in it always folder which name you'll must remember. In this subfolder past nk.exe you want to use. It isn't all. Now go back to Sources\NK\<your device> and create file define.txt. There goes on one line each NK with syntax: <folder name>|<is 6.5 true/false> so you can have more NKs at one kitchen (like 6.5 and 6.1 at once or with any hacks etc), you select them later in kitchen GUI. Guest Chimp Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 This works for Omnia, right? And any way to get 23534 SYS files? /Chimp
Guest smaury Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 Yes it works on i900 and i910! For 23534 you can just port it yourself it's not too difficult, just follow the SYS structure i wrote in the first post!
Guest waremike32 Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 Thank you yet again Smaury, for bringing another great kitchen to the Omnia. I edited the recmod batch by Wozzer and myself for this kitchen and as always, I thought I'd share. Copy nuerecmod.exe & recfile.cmd to \Resources\Tools Copy and run the Recmod SYS cmd from the root of the kitchen. Enjoy 0 Modules in Slot 0.RecModSysOsKitch.zip

I had tried Wozzers kitchen before and he posted the other sys/rom files. So where do you get the 23534 files at? /Chiimp

Guest techfellow Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 I have been thinking about getting into the cooking game for myself, and maybe others, would this be all I need or is there more to cooking roms? P.S. My tech skills is "above average"
Guest ock Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Hi smaury, Thanks for bringing this here, will definitely try it out. :D
Guest thekevster Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) for some reason every time i try to extract the 28230 sys it always gives me errors for 8 different files in the package saying "CRC failed in 'WM....the file is corrupt". i've tried using winrar and 7-zip and both give me errors for the same files. will this cause problems when trying to build rom? 3 of theme are gulim.ac3 from the different dpi's and 3 mingliu.ac3 from the diff. dpi's and the last one is simsun.ac3. Guest bike1dad2 Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Ok, very nooby question, I downloaded everything. I select i910 from drop down, but where do I get Stock Rom exe from? Sorry if I misread something.
Guest thekevster Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) i must be doing something wrong. i can never seem to get a bootable rom, they always get stuck on the initial omnia screen and the blue bar moves about 3/4 across then stops. i downloaded the cf03 updater and added it in the initial setup of the kitchen. i downloaded the 28230 for the oskitchen and put the sys and msxip kernel in their proper places making sure the structure was right. i downloaded, copied and ran the recmod zip from waremike prior to building the rom. is there something i'm missing? Sorry if I misread something. http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa/jsp/fa...mp;AT_ID=157996 be sure to save the .exe and not run it. the .exe you download will be what you need to place in the RUU section.

Try to check the MSXIPKernel folder and if there are delete: hd.dll and osaxst0.dll then rebuild your ROM.

You don't need the files for your Omnia but you ca open the rar file in WinRar and got to the tools menu and select "Repair Archive". There is a recovery record in the rar. :D
Guest lioryte Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Thanks for posting this smaury Looking good, I'll try it out soon enough' :D This is great! the less complicated we make cooking the better- This community can use some new chefs!
Guest flanker1743 Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 Can we use syakr with this kitchen to chop up the Verizon OEM still?
Guest thekevster Posted February 18, 2010 Report Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) Try to check the MSXIPKernel folder and if there are delete: hd.dll and osaxst0.dll then rebuild your ROM. i checked and neither of them were in there. is there some other step im missing? are there other procedures other than the ones in the first post required to build a working rom with this kitchen? You don't need the files for your Omnia but you ca open the rar file in WinRar and got to the tools menu and select "Repair Archive". Guest flanker1743 Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 I'm using windows 7 also. Is that a possible cause of this error? Thank you for the help. I'm using windows 7, no problems extracting here.
Guest smaury Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 I've just send a PM to the developer with some info to fix the kitchen whene he'll answer me i'll post here! :D
