You haven't flashed the .bin, you've just flashed the ROM (.zip file) over an 1.6 ROM.

Before flashing this ROM, you MUST flash a 2.1 bin with the Acer Download Tool.

I flashed the 2.1 rom that it's in the first post with name: Acer_LiquidE_0.008.06_EMEA_GEN1_ae645a3fbe26687bccf3cfef3229e4cb

should I try again?

Reflash it but don't flash eViL's 1.9 ! This ROM isn't based on this bin the only way to get this ROM working, is to flash an older bin. But this bin is MUCH MUCH slower and doesn't have MT.

Wait for a new release fully working with the new bin. I don't think that will be very long.

Oh, ok, so I should flash the old ACER_LiquidE_0.004.01_EMEA_GEN1_..bin, right? And then this new 1.9?

Thanks for your help! :P

Yes, if you want the 1.9 to work but I think you shouldn't do this, you should wait a new release from eViL that supports this new bin.

First of all thank you eViL D: and malez!

I flashed the new bin today and it works great! To root it i flashed malezRecovery_0.4.1.img and used method 1 of 2 from the rooting options.

Thats it, root works perfectly, right now i'm restoring my apps with titanium backup.

But did you flash the superboot.img?

Odd. I cant get ADB remount to work. ADB returns the answer: Operation not permitted.

I flashed MalezRecovery 0.41 and the phone is rooted. Still remount wont work.

Superboot will just destroy the system (black screen at reboot)

This new ROM leak is still very laggy and slow. I'll test it during the rest of the weekend to see how it behave battery wise, but I'll problem go back to Donut.

But did you flash the superboot.img?

of course not, did i write something about that?

superboot won't work since it has the kernel from the old bin.

Is anyone else having problems with ADB? I can't adb remount, I can't pull, or push files... Ugh... Any tips? I managed to get deoxt-wrapper and zipalign on there... but I can't launch them, and get access denied. I had to make an xbin folder as there wasn't one already there.

I'm running the new .bin, rooted with Malez's recovery.

same here , i think we need to wait for a new superboot to allow us access to kernel.

root works for apps like quickboot etc

For those who have no network.

I'm not sure, but you may try to firstly flash 0.004.00 bin then the new bin.

Just a suggestion, don't have this problem myself.

Thanks Vache. :P Testing now, you made this for the new bin, right?

If I use autokiller, will my settings overrule the ones in the boot.img? I use aggresive... as I don't multitask that much.

Thanks in advance.

Passes un bon week-end de Paques ! :(

Settings are applyed only one time at boot, so autokiller will overwrite them.

I put agressive settings already.
