U8230 rom default phone locale

I am currently using the U8230 rom on my pulse, however I have one problem. When using price comparison applications such as Shopsavvy they only search websites from Europe and do not show prices in Pounds Sterling. How can I set my phone so that it is English Great Britain locale? In order for it search UK websites. Thanks in advance.

Just a bump and to add a new point. At the present my locale is set to English. Is of possible to set British English as I only have two options; French and English.

I set it by editing the build.prop in the update before flashing it, you will need to re-sign the update though.

Morelocale on the store will give you more options.

Is there a guide I can follow for making the changes suggested?

I tried morelocale but all it seems tI do is change menu languages and not the actually the system language.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Hey, was just wondering if you could edit the build.prop found in /system/ after the rom has been flashed, or is it too late by then for it to actually make a difference?

Install it, change the language setting then reboot.
