I don't think it's a rom specific problem. . .

Hey, I'm new to all this. I read instructions, downloaded alpha7 but all I got was the WSOD. I'm trying to go back to the default nexus one ROM but I'm not sure how to do it. I tried restoring from Nando backup but all I get is the fastboot screen with the androids on skateboards.

Can anyone help, please?

did you wipe your device (e.g., Factory Reset) before flashing alpha7? if not, then wipe and reflash.

Thanks, it is working now. If I want to go back to default Nexus One ROM, then I wipe and restore from Nando backup?

Pull the battery and USB cable.

Wait 30 seconds

Replug and go

Also, make sure you wipe before booting, it helps a lot of issues that may occur!

Thank you that worked perfectly!

when there is no download or upload activities, some network auto fallback to 3g instead staying at hsdpa

Anyone have issues with OC interferin with WiFi on Desire?

Steps: From CM5.0.2,

1. I wiped (nothing new to backup since last...)

2. Nandroid restored my backed up version of Alpha-7 (I had been in my standard CM5.0.2 but wanted to check a few things with Desire),

3. Fastbooted the kmobsimage.dat.

4. Rebooted... when i opened SetCPU it autorecognized the 1.113.

5. Noticed a minute or two later that WiFi was off. Went to settings and couldn't turn it back on.

Clearly not a big deal. Desire is faaaaaaast as can be. I use SetCPU more for the profiles than the OC. Curious if anyone else experienced this one?

it reads ERE36B on my phone... :D

I stand corrected

That makes it even more strange that my network issues were resolved with the ERE27 radio?

Before I could not get my phone to choose the correct roaming/gsm network I had to manually choose it and even when doing that it would break 15minutes later.

Was fine on 3G though

Im in Australia

Is anyone having troubles with the voice input? It acts flaky. Sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't. Occasionally it'll just process part of the input.
