Nandroid rom installation

I was just wondering:

what if I copy somebody else's nandroid folder in my sim card and then I use recovery to restore it?

could it work?

if so, it could be a good way for installing roms :-)

I think it could work but, in a Sim Card, its a little bit difficult, and also, I think it would work if you want to install 2.1 because you have to change the .bin ...

Ok, gone for the SD....

I'm not quite sure of what the .bin is, but imho it could work... I just wanted a confirmation by somebody who can try to switch nandroid directories between different phones...

si funziona ma non c'è neanche bisogno di nandroid

se hai il system.img e il data.img di qualcuno basta che metti il cell in fastboot

fastboot -i 0x0502 flash system system.img

fastboot -i 0x0502 flash userdata data.img

Quick translation for the others:

I was trying to set the house on fire in order to light a cigarette: no nandroid needed, just retrieve system.img and data.img and type drigerott's directions above.
