Guest Rutte Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Hi Guys I've had my Liquid for a while now, and decided to try a new custom ROM. Unfortunately I haven't been able to put a ROM on my phone. What I want: - To put a custom eclair rom on my Phone (ACR LiquidE V1.8 for instance) What I did: - Install Superboot - Install Acer Liquid Tool Problems: - After installing the acer liquid tool, in the folder there is only one text file with the text: "..\Windows7\x64" so I can't really use the tool? - How do I make a nandroid backup? I think my biggest problem is that I cannot flash because the acer liquid tool doesn't install properly. (Running Windows 7 ultimate x64) Please Help!

Guest Rutte Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 Make double boot: x86 ( xp and higher ) So it only works with XP and vista x86?
Guest emerald7086 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 So it only works with XP and vista x86? Nope. It works on win7 x64. I'm using one. Seemingly your ADT is incomplete. There should an .exe file.
Guest Shreedhan Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 How do people on a mac install a ROM?
Guest fredr33 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 To get ADT working properly on Win7 64bit, I was forced to use a 32bit JRE/JDK. You might have a similar issue?
