New Android Market on 1.5

Hi is it possible to get the market app found on 2.1 roms on 1.5? I remember reading somewhere when it first came out that it was possible if you have root. The new market is one of the reason i dont wanna go back to 1.5

Yhea it would be nice because of the screenshots. i'm not sure it is possible never came across something like a port to 1.5. but curious

I don't think it's possible, if it was many of us over here would have done that already.
