Guest fantong Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 (edited) I know it is a stupid question , but when I long press in the home screen and select wallpaper, there should be two menu. One is selecting from gallery which I can select pic from my sdcard, one is selecting from solid picture. But now the first one is missing from my Liquid, how can I fix this problem? Or is there any software can set pic from sdcard as wallpaper. I don't need any feature like download from Internet. Thanks Edited February 23, 2010 by fantong

If so then you can view a picture in the gallery and click Menu->Set As->Wallpaper. If that fails then I know Astro File Manager can do this if you long-press on an image file name.

And I try to open image file in astro file manager, it only can set pic as contractor's image.
Guest Uxian Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Are you using stock firmware or one of the custom ROMs found on this board, and is your phone rooted? If you're rooted then you can probably push an appropriate Gallery.apk into /system/app. There are some alternative galleries although I don't know whether they replace the stock one or merely provide similar functionality. A quick search of Androlib suggests a free one called My Gallery by MOeMO (com.moemo.android.mygallery) that claims to allow you to set wallpaper. http://www.androlib.com/android.applicatio...allery-wDj.aspx
