Guest windowsrb Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 i still don't get it why all mobile phone manufacturers can't solve some software or hardware problems from the earliest models to the newest one. Nokia with RAM memory, no bass on speaker, cheap plastic HTC with camera and finally Samsung with battery indicator in all windows models Indicator shows 100% all day and the next morning drops 10% every 15 minutes. Sometimes when charging by usb cable it draining is faster then charging etc Baterry lasts maximum 1,5 day or less with normal use. I use Mobile Shell 3.5 but i had no problems with HTC Wizard *more than 3 days, sometimes even 4
Guest Billus Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Yea, I don't get this problem. My Omnia can last around 5 days or more if I don't use the internet, 1 day if I do, mainly because I do intensive searching. What version rom are you on?

What version rom are you on? wow. 5 days. incredible. you are going to break the record. i have 6.1 original ROM DXHH3 i guess... i still dont get it. i have original battery. i have naver had Samsung device with battery capable to stand for 2 days.
Guest joža Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 i think my battery lasted 5 days on some 6.1 rom...but i don't remember anymore... i'm getting like 3 days, with some internet usage, 30 sms a day and like 30min of games. i think that's good :( umm i hear a lot of people having battery drain problems, but i guess it depends very much of signal strength... or just some hardware mistakes like with onmia touchscreen sensitivity :(

Optimal 1 day. and what do you think is there big difference between battery life in win 6.1 and 6.5? I don't think so... 6.5 is i guess just better in software and more or less ROM memory does not make battery life longer or shorter...
Guest rcicu Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 I have only ever been able to get 1 day with only checking email. Now if I disable the Data, my i910 has gone a week between charges. The Omnia battery life is better then my friends iPhone!
Guest Geert Jalink Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 I use my mobilephone many hours a day, watching video, calling, sms, using the internet, 1400mAh battery sometimes need to be charged at night and somewhere in the afternoon.
Guest windowsrb Posted February 26, 2010 Report Posted February 26, 2010 i've found somewhere on modaco.com program called nodata (cab file) with list of all active gprs connections and possibilities to disable them all. We will see in day or two are there any changes in battery life. Hope so... HSDPA already turned off.
