Guest rico2k_uk Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Ive been using AcheTeeSee's vanilla rom (v2.1) which is brilliant. Before that i was trying some of the 2.1 roms that are out there. One that I came across (but I cant remember which one!) had the pulldown menu transparent. It was much better then the usual white background. Is there a way to make the 1.5 ones the same? Other 2.1 roms have a white/gray checkerboard background (i guess the transparency not set right?).
Guest kendon Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 there are various themes for 1.5 roms, some (most) of them include a transparent notification screen.

Try this one SenseHero. I've been using it for a few days now. Very nicely themed MCR (a tribute to Paul's work).
Guest AlThePost Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 Very nicely themed MCR (a tribute to Paul's work). Except it's yet another that is using Paul's limited beta as a base for their own public distro. :(
Guest Dr. dre Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 You can also try many other Themes at xda developers, many of them offer what you want.

Guest pulser Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 Isn't that a bit over kill to have to do a wipe and run an update to apply a theme?? That really does sound like overkill. Fair enough to do an update.zip (you need one unless you fancy typing the commands manually), but a wipe for a theme...

Ya I agree with, even I was planning to flash this theme but wipe for a theme is way too much.
