Will my Modded Pulse still work on T=Mobile

Can't seem to find the answer to this. I want to mod my Pulse as I think the 'extras' that T-Mobile have added are throttling it's performance.

However..... If I do mod it, will it still work as normal using my PAYG T-Mobile SIM ?

If so, will it work 'out of the box' or do I need to enter a load of T-Mobile settings to get it to work first? If so, where can I find those settings to enter?
