Guest B1ny Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 I got my Nexus yesterday and when I started to set it up just like my Liquid, i noticed that you can't fit as many widgets on the home screens on the Nexus. On the Liquid you can fit 5 1x1 size widgets below each other, but on the Nexus you can only fit 4 of them. I must say that I find this very strange since they are supposed to have the same 800x480 resolution, but Nexus have a bigger screen at 3.7 vs Liquids 3.5. I notice that on the Nexus there are more space between the rows of widgets, but I see no need for that. It seems that the Nexus isn't using its screen as effective as the Liquid, its much more user friendly with 20 widgets on each screen than 16. Anyone know the reason for this?
Guest Jason Patel Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 This also annoys me, I want to fit more widgets on one screen. Not sure if the Custom Roms fix this, as I am still locked.
Guest komos Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 on liquid you have donut or eclair on donut it ts five rows on eclair it is four rows same think on my milestone(eclair) and my liquid (donut)

Guest komos Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 i think google believes that this way is more finger friendly because there is more space between icons
