Pulse or Hero?

Hey all, which is better, the pulse or the hero?

Wish I had got the hero when I sold iphone, instead of buying w850 then pulse. Think it all depends on how much money you want to spend. Also some people want there pulse to look like hero ui.

I'd say there are not many/big differences between the Pulse and the Hero.

The HW is also mostly the same. Depends on which design you like more - I prefer the Pulse's design :(

And if you want the SenseUI, thats just a matter of time when we'll port the Hero ROM :(

tbh honest the only reason i want the hero is for the senseui. Its amazing. I really wish the pulse has it. I was also wondering about performance. I get quite a bit of lag with the pulse.

David Dawkins and me are currently working on a Hero ROM - well not for the moment, but be optimistic :(

haha, well i have bought a pulse, but i bought that for my gf, I'm making it to her specs lol

but i like it, its a really good device and for the price you can't fault it. Im just not sure whether i could put up with the lag. If its no better with the hero then i won't have a problem. I'll also want the android 2.1 update at some point so a lot depends on whether huawei actually release the promised update.

I shall remain optimistic! hehe cheers.

the diffrent is the price ,camera,ram....

But pulse is good enough for me.

Hero and Pulse are almost identical in hardware. Hero has better camera (actually both are crap, but Pulse’s is even worse), slightly more memory (RAM and ROM), probably better build quality (?), “Sence” UI and much more support from the community. In the other hand Pulse has bigger screen, hot swap for memory card, dedicated camera button :( , and can do almost everything that Hero do for better than half of the price.

Personally, I would never pay more than £300 (Hero’s SIM free price) for Qualcomm 512MHz device, because this platform just guarantees the lag presence. Especially, when so many new Android (and not only) devices are going to came on the market in very near future. In other simple words: Hero is overpriced and it will be better to hold on for a while before buying anything if you already have Pulse.
