Terminal for HTC HERO?

Hey guys, new here.

I have rooted my HTC Hero yesterday as per the guides and all seems to be working perfectly, it seems I have root privileges through adb and now I am looking for a terminal to run on the HTC hero itself.

I obviously need one with a keyboard since those on the market like 'Terminal Emulator' don't seem to have one on the hero.

I also need one that has root privileges, I see people talking about using 'nano' and running .sh scripts I just don't understand where are they running from ? the 'adb shell' or a terminal?

Any suggestions on a good one?

Or install ConnectBot (excellent app) and use a "local" connection
