My pulse won't receive calls

Hi All :(

UK T-Mobile Pulse owner here, running MCR 1.7 T-Mobile style with Apps2SD on a 4GB SDHC card on a T-Mobile PAYG sim.

Anyway, for the last week or so, my Pulse has been rejecting calls- it just gives a busy tone to the caller and doesn't ring at all. I bunged the T-Mobile sim in my old N95 and it was fine. I put my wife's Virgin sim in the pulse and it seemed happy to boot up and make calls, but it still wouldn't receive. So I'm pretty sure it's a phone problem. Oddly, if you go into the call register all the missed calls are recorded.

I searched the forum and came up with this thread, so I checked that all call forwarding is disabled, which it is, and rang 222 to change my voicemail settings, which in turn enabled voicemail for the first time.

So, if anyone has any solutions, I'd be glad to hear them. And if anyone has any ideas on how to disable voicemail again, I'd be glad to hear that too (I hate voicemail- I can usually answer my phone if it rings for long enough, if not I'll call back.

I guess a wipe and re-install is probably going to be required, but that's a bit of a faff which I'd rather avoid. If I have to, is there any way of reinstalling or backing up apps which doesn't involve uninstalling and then reinstalling them one by one on the market?

Cheers :(

Can't really help with your calls not connecting but maybe with the other questions...

If you want to disable voice mail then I think you'll have to call customer services and get them to do it. Takes no time at all in my experience.

As for backing up and restoring all your apps, if you're running MCR 1.7 then you should already have Titanium Backup installed. If that's the case then it has scripts to back up all your apps, messages, bookmarks and other settings which you can then restore after the reinstall.

Thanks, I'll try that :(.

I have the same problem.. I can receive calls form landlines but any call from a mobile (Only tested O2) gets directed strait to voicemail.

I'm using Tmobile Pay monthly

A reinstall didn't fix this, but a wipe/reinstall/wipe/EXT repair did <_<. I used Titanium Backup to back up all my apps but it kept crashing when I told it to back up everything. Oddly though, I re-registered the phone with Google, went into the main menu and all my apps were still there. All I had to do was drag them back onto the homescreen. I suppose that's an advantage of using Apps2SD?
