Dosen't hear my ringtone - just the vibrate working

Hi guys im using rarzry m2d rom

and it was working before and one day its just stopped and since than i have a lot of unmissed calls

in the setting everything great and i even change my ringtone cause i thought that its just the file and i wrong

plz help me its really annoying

i dont know what to do

What did you do to fix it? i have had this problem with a couple of different roms. After a while either the message tone or the ring tone stop working and it just vibrates. Cannot change back to ring in any of the settings, must be some sort of registry error. Only way i have found to fix is to hard reset.

when u switch your phone to vibrate or non ring or vibrate at all look at the right corner at the top of your screen

there is have a diffrent levels

1. System volume

2. Ring volume

when u chose non sound at all automatic the ring volume shut it self off and set to 0

just switch to option 2 and upper the level

i have changed both the system volume and the ring volume back to 5. This does not sole it. Also if i try to change the ring tone in the Sounds part of the system menu it will not accept it. When you select ok the page will not close and reverts back to the previous settings. The only way to close this page is with the Call End button. Thats why i am guessing it is some kind of Registry conflict

Change the string Directory and Default Sound with \My Storage

Soft reset and go to settings/sound and notifications and choose what you need.

Doesnt matter anyway i got fed up and flashed with a new rom. Nobody seems to totaly understand what my problem was. I know how to change Ringtones and i have my own message tones. i know where to put them and how to change and edit them. This wasnt the problem.

The phone worked fine for a few days with a custom 6.5 M2D rom, i had changed all the tones that was required and set it up as i wanted. One day for no apparent reason the phone would not sound an SMS tone but would only vibrate.

I changed the settings in Setting/Sounds and in M2D settings tab but it would not accept the change. The only way to exit the screen was to use the call end key as exery time X was pressed it just sat there doing nothing.

I soft reset a few times and tried again but still with no effect. I also noticed that on the message tone selection (from the drop down box in settings/sounds) it was not possible to preview the tone with the play button.

I have had this error once before while running a stock 6.1 rom with SPB Shell 3. It would be good to find out if there is a fix for this rather than having to hard reset and loose everything.

them maybe it was the rom's fault. you've installed a program that messed up your phone. it happend to me, with one of ock's roms. i installed the omnia lite volume control and it messed up my motion sensor. it wouldn't turn to landscape mode. like you said, all the roms here are custom and bugs appear all the time. so....just good luck <_<
