Need an app to set as default picture viewer

When I click on a photo I've taken in file explorer I get the error message "There is no application associated with (photo number/name) . Run the application first , then open this file from within the application." I have Photoslides , Digital Frame and Photo Viewer Pro all installed but can't seem to make one of them open pics by default , always get this same error message !

Doen't anything just "work straight out of the box" with these phones , I so wish I'd never upgraded to WinMo 6.5 instead of leaving it with the default software.

On a side note , has anyone got a way of me getting the standard 6.1 rom with all the samsung widgets and crap as standard , I never could download it successfully from Samsung download centres , always got some error message when trying (Im in Australia)

If you have GSFinder+ file explorer installed, there is an option within the settings that allows you to change the default program for each file type.

Sounds like you may have stumbled across a dodgy ROM..... try dheewatara's - easily the best 6.5 Rom's, have never had a problem with them.

With regards to the 6.1 ROM... don't know about official ROMs... but there are plenty of 6.1 ROMS with the samsung apps in the ROM section here..... you might have to search a bit as they are a bit old now.

cheers , I'll try that prog u mentioned , I actually seem to have found the old i900DXIA5 update yoo so if Im stuck I can try that

Actually I like Resco Photo Viewer pro.

As far as I remember on the first launch it asking about default file association and after that you can click on the pictures in any file explorer and resco viewer handle this!

Well... I want a photo-viewer like HTC Album (zooming with your finger and such), but HTC Album it's quite buggie.

Could try the Omnia lite Photo Album that Sector ported across.

it does all of that and more
