Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 (edited) You know my Desire Status Bar? I don't like the green battery anymore. I like other colours. So I'll share my theme for you. I hope, you like it. Look here: Installation and Downloads At first I have to say something new! The new Metamorph seems to be a bit unstable by applying themes with coloured text in the statusbars. Some of you have reported problems while applying it. So I have decided to make the theme applying in a few little steps. This is a Metamorph Theme. You have to install Metamorph (or better: Metamorph Pro) from the market. Copy the following files to your SD Card in the folder "AndroidThemes" If you have problems Check following 1. Have you downloaded the correct files for your ROM? 2. Have you debugging enabled in the Android Menu? 3. Install "Titanium Backup" start it and hit the "Problems?" Button, then it installs a correct busybox version. This is required!!! 4. In Metamorph, press Menu, and play with the applying speed. Choose a speed above 4200! 5. Never check the "Disable startup checks" in Metamorphs settings 6. Never, never, never rename the zipfile. If you do this, you become error messages like "Theme Control File Missing" Download http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...amp;postcount=1 Thanks to all, who have made it possible!! What changes this morph: - Statusbar - Battery Icons - WiFi Icons - Mobile Icons - GPS Icon - Gmail Statusbar Icon - Email Statusbar Icon - SMS/MMS Statusbar Icon - Google Talk Statusbar Icon - Statusbar drawer - Thanks xkonni for the Statusbar Drawer in correct sizes! My Thanks goes to: DocRambone for the Ideas KnowFear for excellent explanation of making Metamorph Themes Ohsaka for making it easy to change the services.jar colours with his incredible colour changer Stericson for his awesome metamorph app HAVE FUN!!! Guest Jeremy702 Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 Maybe I'm missing something.. I grabbed Metamorphing I downloaded the zip and opened it with Metamorphing. I select the thm file and then hit apply all. It gets to the 2nd application (framework-res), hangs and reboots and then reboots. When the phone (n1) comes back up, not everything has changed. The clock changed and that's it. I tried the rest of them one at a time and those all went fine. I'm using 1.8, custom kitchen.. Ideas? Suggestions?
Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 H, strange. I've tried it and it works fine here. But with this rom I had problems with Metamorph, too. I think, there is something wrong with the su.
Guest xkonni Posted March 5, 2010 Report Posted March 5, 2010 How can i get back to the Default theme? download the rom you run, extract it, push the changed (themed) files over with adb. Formel-LMS from looking at your pull-down-bar i guess you do not use .9.png files correctly :( take a search for draw9patch to find tutorials. (those .9.pngs are stretchable and need some information on which part to stretch and which part to leave in original size)

Feel free to change it, if you don't like it. But share it to us please.

Guest xkonni Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 ok tried again today and 4shared let me download, yay <_< edited the image with draw9patch, compiled with eclipse and now it looks like this: made a small metamorph just replacing that single image.formel_fix.zip
Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 This is nice. Thank you for supporting it. I 'll look into my pn's this afternoon. do you give me the permission to use it in my Meteamorph? You're just right, it looks better ;-)

Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 (edited) I have applied it to my Metamorph. The Downloadlink is updated now. You can now install the whole "theme" with the one file on the first post. Thanks, xkonni! Edited March 8, 2010 by Formel-LMS
Guest ovrclock Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Any chance we can get this w/o the purple signal/battery/network color? I've been searching high-and-wide for this without any luck. I noticed that your Hero Status Bar is almost exactly what I'm looking for, but its not mcr compatible. I hate to be a picky b@stard, but I'm dying for just a classic look w/ a black bar.

Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Yes, my Hero Statusbar is it. I can change it for MCR ROM if you want. But I think, it is tomorrow, because I'll go now for Carrera Racing <_<

Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 You don't have to wipe anything. Could you please tell me more about your error? Are you sure, that your phone doesn't go to sleep while using metamorph?
Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 Update in first Post for MCR 2.0! Enjoy!

Guest nethium Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Can you guys see if this works with CYANOGEN 5.0.5 TEST1? I am using the black bar "update.zip" and it kills the apps2sd in the new build and also overwrites the new battery with text indicator of percentages. Thanks in advance.
Guest Formel-LMS Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) No, there are a few changes in Cyan 5.0.5 I think if you wanna have the battery percentage, you can't use this theme. I make an Update, when 5.0.5 is official, because updating my themes are much work and I don't use cyanogen ROM myself. I'm on MCR ROM. If cyanogen make more ROMS with different things in it, I think that I didn't support Cyanogen ROM anymore. Then the work is too much for me. But thats future. If it's real, I wanna have a look at it. @monici: I think you have a problem with your Cyanogen ROM. Edited March 18, 2010 by Formel-LMS
Guest McNexus Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 Just installed on to Cyanogen 5.0.5.3 and working fine. Thanks for the work you have put in for Cyanogen users. I hope you can keep supporting CM.
