Just a question! Does anyone know -really- in how many MHz does the processor of the SPV runs? Is it true that it works at around 88MHz, yes or no? Please, if anyone knows something I would be greatful if he gave me an answer...

Thanks again and sorry for my bad english

I believe it was quoted at about 84Mhz when

the processor is actually a 133Mhz

Read that post about the serial cable, the diagnostic showed an ~85 mhz speed.

What do you use for diplay the speed by serial cable please ?

Ok I did say about 84Mhz but I was only 1Mhz out ;)

I can' undestand why is that  (Technical specifications says for an 132MHz processor...) but thank you anyway for your answers ;)

Probably to save on battery life and/or to pass the EMC tests!

Or maybe just the PCB wasn't laid out too well and the signal lines were interfereing with each other.

There are many reasons and we'll probably never know ;)

Its underclocked at 83mhz to conserve battery, god if theired have released it at 132mhz their wud be some serious complaints about battery life, most people already complain as it is!

Still since theirs a Pocketpc ARM overclocker called JSOverclock we should be able to over clock the SPV cpu!

As some of the forum code gods are working on trying to increase the processor speed back towards the 132Mhz, we may actually find out why. My money is on the battery life.
