Guest _melchett Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 My random act of kindness today (helping jump start a car) ended with me losing my headphones. Does anyone use different headphones than the ones supplied? I'm looking for ones ideally with an in-line mic as i listen to alot of music and it makes it much easier to answer calls. I have a pair of Blackberry headphones with a mic in it but possibly due to the 2.5-3.5mm converter this doesn't work. Of course if there is someone out there with Pulse headphones they wouldn't mind ofloading for a reasonable price.....
Guest minid33 Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 Quick google search throws up SKULLCANDY LINK WRAP HEADPHONES 2.5MM JACK; apparently they have what you're looking for, but that depends if you like that behind the neckband style. you can find them for just over £5 on amazon. If you're willing to drop the microphone for a better pair i think there is plenty more to choose from by reputable brands like senneheiser (cx300s i think) or skullcandy and the like. Hope thats helps.
Guest psionandy Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 (edited) If it was me, I'd forget the idea of 2.5 headphones all together, and go for some bluetooth a2dp ones instead. Something like the Sony Ericsson DS200 or DS205.. or the Jabra BT3030 allow you to plug any 3.5 headphones into them so you can play music or make phone calls... if you're on a tighter budget the jabra 320s were floating around on ebay etc... at a cheaper price. (edit... sorry just looked and there aren't any at the moment) CEX has a DS205 in stock though) Edited March 9, 2010 by psionandy

The big man upstairs (religiously not any random fat person who lives/works above me) let me find them the next day. But these options are all good to know because, inevitably, the current pair are going to break. I wonder how much extra juice running bluetooth while running music will take out of the battery.
Guest CHN-michael Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 The headphone with MOTO V8 failed to use, just like I used it on the PALM 500V. Did Nokia HS-47 worked perfect with pulse?
Guest psionandy Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 The Nokia BH-103 also works... although any a2dp one should http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...3/#entry1199369
