Wavesecure issue

Switched my phone on this morning to be told it was locked, giving a different phone number to contact re unlocking it! I was worried so immediatly entered the PIN and unlocked it ok, but it's worrying that it seems to have been locked by someone else! Anyone else had this?

Yeah I had this last night, was just using the phone, then it rebooted and said it was locked.

After unlocking I had an icon of a sim card and exlamation mark, and I think looking round the men the security settings had been changed to PIN lock SIM.

I took the battery out and the SIM, then put it all back and turned on, and its been fine since, but a bit worrying!

I notice theres an update on the market to the version I'm running, but havn't updated yet.

Just to add this, quite important to watch out for!

I've had this again this morning, kept locking several times, I've also just noticed I'm getting 20p charges on my account, searching the number reveals its something to do with Waveseucre!

So, not only is it locking my phone without permission, its also charging something to my account! Uninstalled now, probably won't be putting it back.

I know where the charges will be from, it texts the number that you've specified to tell it that someone's put SIM in. *EDIT* well I think it texts wavesecure, to register it, and then they txt the number.

Why it thinks that someone has done that incorrectly, I don't know :/

Did anyone make a note of the number it told you to contact?

Nope, allthough I think it might have been my specified 'friend' number.

The charges seem to be texts to Wavesecure, 20p a time they are, and it did 2 this morning. I've logged into their site, and it now tells you texts are sent to Singapore, I'm pretty sure they didn't mention this before!

I've uninstalled and done the remove from device thing on the website, which sent a text to my phone. Its still acting odd though (see my other post starting Help..)
