I appreciate your help however it brings up another question... in the Alpha 12 thread under Changelog it says "RIL updates (more connection quality and stability in my experience) - ERE36B radio recommended". I take it this is a mistype? That sentence is what lead me to try and update mine and wiping Alpha 11.

My version is: passion-user 2.1-update1 ERE27 24178 release-keys I downloaded the ERE36B from that thread that said is was No-Wipe and can be flashed over anything. Well I probably applied it wrong. Here's how i did it. 1. I booted into recovery 2. flash zip from SD card 3. used update-nexusone-ERE36B-signed.zip "ERE36B - update zip format This download is the ERE36B update repurposed it to a conventional update zip, to apply via the modified recovery. This is non wipe, and can be flashed over the top of just about anything. It is completely stock, secure and unrooted and does NOT include the Radio update. If you flash and end up in a 'boot loop', re-enter recovery, wipe then reflash. UPDATE ZIP DOWNLOAD MD5: MD5 070e47f96d7c14e682232155e86a8f4b" 4. and i got a stock ROM that didnt work because i didnt wipe first and the file locations are different. So apparently what im saying is i dont know how to flash a radio correctly. <_< Edited June 7, 2011 by Paul
Guest xkonni Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 To each image there's a short explanation. you even quoted it. it contained this: "This download is the ERE36B [...] and does NOT include the Radio update" which makes me guess that the radio is not in there ;p apart from that, the radio version is the last part of baseband version in about. From the thread you downloaded the other image, get this: EPE54B / 32.26.00.24U_4.04.00.03_2 radio - update zip format if your version is different from that, and you want to update.
Guest ludo218 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) For flashing the radio, you must download... the radio <_< What you are trying to flash is a ROM that does not contains radio; you can download radios here (search for RADIO UPDATE ZIP DOWNLOAD). To make it short : updates from Google, like the new EPE54B that was leaked yesterday, always contains everything (ROM, radio, etc), and Modaco always release these components separately (one update zip for the ROM, one for the radio, etc). Ha i missed that, reading will fix it everytime... Anyway, i guess i assumed calling it the ERE36B update i would get the ERE36B update.. Fair enough i will try the other. Thanks
Guest ethos99 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Ok i got the new radio but im still on ERE27 ...Should i care about that since i got the new radio version? Im really confused now because i thought ERE36B was the radio.....
Guest ludo218 Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 (edited) No it's the ROM version. You can see the radio version in Settings -> About phone -> Baseband version <_< Edited March 7, 2010 by ludo218
