Sense Smart Dial question

Is it possible to make smart dial in Sense UI to also search for accented versions of regular characters? Kinda like S60v3 FP2 in Nokias does, if you ever saw it.

For example, two contacts that have first names that start with C and Ć. First contact (one that starts with C) will be found when pressing no. 2 on keypad, but second contact won't be found.

Another example, last names of contacts start with "Hos" and "Hoš". When typing 467, first contact will be found, but second will not.

No idea about your accent problem but you can search by surname too.

Yes this is a problem with Sense. I actually gave some feedback on this issue and they acknowledged the problem. Hopefully it will be fixed in 2.1...You can try other dialers available from the market.

That's nice of HTC to at least acknowledge it. I think I'll wait for 2.1, without trying the dialers, it's not a big issue if it's gonna (hopefully) be fixed.
