+1 for your homemade effort - its a brilliant photoshop attempt too.

As for the desk genie - nice to know its also compatible with the Pulse mini! I hope they have tested it with it (!!! haha!!!)

Actually.. i'd bet that it is compatable...

The base of the unit is a USB2 hub (with 2 external ports). There is a breakout lead with multiple tips that will plug into anything using a 'standard port' (nokia, sony, microUSB, MiniUSB, some others that I don't recognise... ) the lead will charge but not sync. If you want to sync you'd need to connect one of the ports to a micro usb cable (does anyone make a 6 inch microusb cable?)

The stand itself is a very grippy rubber, that will hold up most phones (even works with my tytnII which is quite heavy) in portrait or landscape... the only downside is that you have to give it a quick clean each week with a damp cloth as it gets less 'grippy' as it attracts dust. The upside is that its probably the last stand I'll ever need to buy for anything ever again.

Oh and it has a built in card reader for microSD and M2 memory cards, which is handy.
