How to turn off Samsung UI on B7610?

I installed a SMSDRFix, but i cannot use the notification sounds, because Samsung UI doesn't show up this setting menu. Unfortunately I don't have this turn off point in General settigns menu. please help!

Hi there if you want the standerd windows menu in 6.5 all you need to do is to disable the touch wiz and for that you need standerd windows settings that is not accessible since samsung had hidden it so all you need to do is do change some registry value and then you will get the standert windows settings and then that should be just fine

To Show Windows Setting in Start Menu

* Open any registry editor, go to path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\ amd change Value 'HideSettings' to '0' (credits to rodrigofd)

* may be you can use total commander for this purpose.

If you want to Disable sasmung skinned app for SMS then do the following changes in registry.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Sofware\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SMStext]

"DLL"="htmlnote.dll"

for the ones who are curious

but in 6.5 you can enable that settins menu by performing the above mentiont reg edit, but beware if you ENABLE the touchwiz,the startmenu transforms in touchwiz and the above settings menu is not an option in touchwizz,

go to hardwarekey assigment or something and change the halfmoon shaped key as ''start menu''

only then you can disable touchwiz again!!!!
