Guest david_dawkins Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 I'm sure you're all delighted to learn that I've got my phone back after taking it to T-Mobile with a loose USB socket - they actually replaced the whole handset. I am one very happy bunny.
Guest david_dawkins Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 nice one fella; did they charge you? No, not at all!
Guest Phantom20 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 I'm hoping they replace mine as well. Sent mine in because of intermittently restarting itself as well even a couple of times turning itself on after I had physically turned it off myself, also because of really bad audio problems. This will be my second Pulse and if I get a third one and that develops a fault I am taking it back and asking for a different brand altogether (probably a HTC of some sort).

That is extraordinarily bad luck. <_< Either that or you suffer from excessive static electricity. Good luck; I feel good about T-Mobile at the moment so let's hope it works out for you too.
Guest zuccster Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Out of interest, how long was it with T-Mobile before they decided to replace it? My Pulse went back just over a week ago with a faulty touchscreen, I was told 'Up to 14 days'...

My Pulse went back just over a week ago with a faulty touchscreen, I was told 'Up to 14 days'... Just over two weeks; took it in on the Friday 19th Feb, it was ready to pick up yesterday (9th March). I called on Fri 5th, since they said 2 weeks, and there was no news. It might not have got sent until Monday 22nd anyway, since it was mid afternoon Friday when I took it in. There was no communication from them until it was ready for pickup. I like to think they were very busy doing my repairs and too busy to let me know what was going on .... <_<
Guest twe Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 out of interest did any of you have your phones unlocked? would t-mobile send you an unlocked phone as a replacement or charge you for that?

I'm assuming they would only unlock it for you, if you had originally bought the unlock code from them
Guest Phantom20 Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Well I got my Pulse back after only 12 days. Engineers report: reflashed the software (which I did twice before I took it in) and tested it was working 2 days after I got it back it was back in the shop with the exact same problems. :) Lets see if they "offer" to replace it this time. Will report back when i get it back again
