How do I make this Rom in Dutch? I have a dutch wm6.5 rom but want to make your rom in Dutch, any idea on how to achieve it?

FAQ:

What 's in this ROM?

- Just some basic applications and files, few driver changes

Why did you remove Camera and FM radio?

- Well they occupy some space inside the ROM, the purpose is just to free some space by deleting their "ROM backup". Well installation files are available.

What Apps/Files did you removed?

- See attached text for info

Too bad you removed my favorite Samsung/WM default apps...

- I'm currently converting the removed apps to installation files, so you can choose apps you like

- Since this is MEGA lite rom, be informed that this was stripped down as much as possible, so many files were removed. Please read removed files txt. If you really need an app and you read it was removed, i recommend installing a third party equivalent app or skip flashing this until the installation files (removed files) are finished wink.gif

Instructions:

1. Download, Extract and Flash with Octans Mini

2. [iMPORTANT] After successful booting and set up, please install The ROM fix and tweaks cab (see download link below)

3. Wait for atleast 5 minutes, then soft reset.

What's inside the ROM fix cab?

- Well it fixes some file viewer errors

- HTC GSensor SDK (so you can run G-Sensor Games)

- Some Camera Tweaks (like Self Portrait)

- My Storage and Storage card transferring file speed increased

- Enable Windows Default Settings

- Enable Screen Orientation Setting

- Added Auto Rotate App

- Disable 6.5 lock-screen (which eats and holds 5-10Mb RAM)

- 10Mb temporary file fix

- Samsung Keyboard as Main SIP

- Disable Samsung Dial Pad (for additional 10Mb RAM)

- GAPI fix

I installed fix cab and there is still no settings.. ;p

after installing you must wait 5 mins before soft reset...

Anyway when you install it, samsung setting is there, after soft reset, windows default settings will be available

After installing the fix cab and waiting for about 10 minutes (after soft reset) my phone keeps freezing when connecting to my pc. I have win 7 64-bit.

reporting a bit late

First impressions:

ROM

1. Rom works smooth and after installing all my apps it has with about 80 mb ram available which is quite an imprevement (had 95mb after flash)

2. Definitive had no deep sleep problem

3. Battery is fine. I have 40% and I've been using the phone from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm ( 70 min talk time, Push email turned on, about 30 min web browsing)

4. Autoclose bug still present but since there is a bunch of free ram I had no problems running this apps simultaneously ( seven, tmail, opera mini 5, calc pro, excel 2010, palringo, twikini and G-alarm) while titanium activated.

5. I could open about 12 apps before auto closing with 7 mb free ram

WM6.5.5

Threaded email is really nice feature and the three line preview is a welcome feature

Calendar views are improved compared to previous versions

Possible bugs and suggestions

1. Lock key works fine on fresh start but after a few hours usage it only turns the screen off ( works if long pressed)

2. Startup animation starts and them screen turns black while music still playing (I dont know if it was like that before installing some apps)

3. W&L button long press is not configurable using AEButton plus ( would be nice)

Found two small issues with the addon applications:

I'm unable to get the Wifi+Bluetooth setting to work, I can do without them but its a very nice app

Also, can you please make a cab file of the samsung calendar application its one of the few samsung apps I actually use, its very good in my eyes.

Many of the applications are in the second list of applications in first post's link.

If still you miss out something may be you can find something here, but I strictly would like the chef to endorse these files, as they are i8000 specific.

Let's see if phone settings and wifi/bt settings fix is available!

Again if you found a samsung setting that doesn't launch, it means it was removed (like bluetooth wifi settings, phone setting, GPS settings). To make them work, install cabs from Samsung Apps batch 2

Camera, FM radio etc. are in Samsung Apps batch 1

Other apps are in the last download of samsung apps (please see first post for the link)

The Samsung Apps Batch 1 & 2 were made to be compatible with this ROM... So if you find an app like Touch Player in Batch 1 and another Touch Player on the Other Samsung Apps download, just install the batch 2 version... <_<
