Co-Pilot Live

I'm running MCR 3.1 with the latest radio and Co-Pilot Live on my Hero. I've reinstalled, disabled Apps2SD and am still having the same problem. After a few minutes of use, Co-Pilot freezes and requires a reboot of the phone. Killing Co-Pilot and re-starting does not resolve the issue. Does any one else use Co-Pilot and have they had similar problems?

I use my sat nav whilst driving and thought that I could use Co-Pilot to replace my TomTom One.... I've had the software for more than 24 hours so no chance of a refund!

Any help would be appreciated.

You sure there's not an update available? I used CoPilot for a short time with no issues on mcr3.1... I since replaced it with Sygic mobile map, which imo is a lot more useful and professionel... But we all have different taste... Did you try a wipe? (I know it's annoying)

btw... my apps2sd has always been ENabled, so I don't think thats your problem

try to get logcat output when freezing. also does this happen on stock roms? if so you could also address the dev(s) of copilot.

i never had any issues, then again i don't use copilot very often or for longer drives.

on the same topic... When I use co pilot on my hero and I type in a post code for my destination i get this weird bug.

When I try switch to number input or back again, the key to do so just inputs characters at random into the text box which I have to backspace (obviously) then after about three iterations of this it actually does what it is supposed to. Really annoying.

Thanks for the replies, tried a full wipe and reinstall yesterday (needed to as I wanted to disable Apps2SD). I'm going to uninstall and re-install tonight and give it another try tomorrow. First thing I do when it's installed is give the settings a serious working over.. I don't really see why that should cause it, but I'm going to accept the defaults and see what happens.

My car has bluetooth which the phone automatically connects to in order to use the vehicle's hands-free system, I'll also try disabling that.

Will post back here tomorrow with my findings and also a LogCat if it keeps happening!
