Hello.

I've been trying out some games from the Market but don't see many comparable to those I've played on iPhone.

I like puzzle and space-shooters ... e.g. galaga-esque type games

Got any recommendations?

In my opinion, for the puzzle games you can try Jewellust, Jewellust Xmas, Shoot U!, Papastacker, Abduction World Attack and Tap'n'Feed, one of my favourites.

At least try Flight Director, it's highly addictive!

In my opinion, for the puzzle games you can try Jewellust, Jewellust Xmas, Shoot U!, Papastacker, Abduction World Attack and Tap'n'Feed, one of my favourites.

I too recommend Jewellust, Shoot U and Flight Director.

Robo Defense (US spelling, yah) is the one I've put most time into though.

Buka's nice too.

Well you could install some emulators like 'Gensoid', 'Snesoid'. Then you could have hundreds of snes and genesis games. Also check out 'ScummVM' for some great Lucas Arts point and click adventure games, hours of fun. I recommend 'Sam n Max hit the road', 'Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis' and 'Maniac Mansion'.

Heres a list of games I found from the market or torrents:

'Armageddon Squadron' is one of my fave android games, a 3d WW2 flying game. its amazing. jaw dropping graphics

'Radient' is a good space shooter game, very stylish and funny

'ShootU' 'Lightup', 'Buka', 'Nintaii' and 'Totemo' are quite good puzzle games.

'Family Guy'

'Sky Force' top down space shooter

'Grave Defense' is my fave strategy game so far cause i like zombies >.> great graphics

'Speedx 3d' and 'Raging Thunder 2' (amazing graphics) are good race games

'Toonwarz' is a good FPS game but the controls are a bit off, good graphics

'What the Doodle' is a great online drawing game loads of fun!!!

I like 'Droid Breakout' (brick), 'Tetris', 'Pinball' and 'Solitare' ^-^

What about Phit Droid for part of your puzzle list and there are multiple edition. I still haven't finished the first edition. I'm only on puzzle 478 of the 1001 since early February.

Found a way to get to the Market through a browser on my computer (which you all probably know about already) <_<

Seems easier to navigate than through the app on the phone ... no search though as far as I can see.

Labyrinth is very good although not many levels on the lite version.

Abduction! World Attack, Robo Defense and Flight Director are three of my favourites too. Add these to the list:

Bonsai Blast - great bubble-popping arcade game, just wish they would make some more levels as I completed it a while ago <_<
