HTC Sense Crash when using People widget with MCR 3.1/3.2

I have tested this on MCR 3.1 and now the new MCR 3.2.

I have added the People widget (the version with only a single column) that came with HTC, I have 4 people added meaning I have to scroll down to reach the fourth person.

I can call any of the first three but when I try to scroll down I get this error:

"Sorry!

The application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

"

and then the interface resets, this has happend on both MCR 3.1 and MCR 3.2, it worked for the original stock rom.

Anyone encountered / found a solution for this?

Hi,

Using 3.1 and 3.2 for ages now including the 1x4 People widget whitout any problems.

Maybe you schould try to reinstall the widget and else reflash the ROM.

It's a well known issue with Hero roms using hebrew. on 2.1 roms it doesn't exist, only on 1.5 based roms...

He is based on MCR3.2 which is 1.5 based not 2.1, and I too have had no issues with the people widget.

I would second the re-install of the widget, and maybe backup, clean/wipe and re-install your MCR3.2 if you use Titanium Backup it would save you a lot of time.

Could be a problem with the data area on the phone.

I think he meant that the problem doesn't exist in 2.1 which would make sense since I'm on 1.5 and have hebrew contacts.

In case this is not the issue, what does it mean to re-install the widget? How do I do that?
