I have bought my device from the Middle East and I am attempting to reflash my phone to the official samsung ROM however the ROM will not flash due to a incompatiblity. I believe the reason is now my PDA version id DXIA5. Are there any hacks or registry keys I can set to revert the device back to the JVHK1 version.

Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.

Use the GrandPrix flashing solution. It's easy and fast. You can flash any rom you want, official or custom.
