don't see how there can be one - the only one listed on Tmobile support site is 2.73.110.61

@Higgsy Well, when I purchased my G2, I got T-Mobile ROM ver 2.73.116.61 version on it, so there has to be out there somewhere.

I wanted it just so I can go back to the original ROM if I ever needed to (repairs, warranty claim and such).

It is possible now to root phone with solution from http://c-skills.blogspot.com/2010/07/android-trickery.html.

So you can do NANDROID backup of your original system.

I managed to root my G2 (ver. 2.73.116.61).
