gps stopped working

the gps on my hero stopped working and I dont know why. I run the vanilla rom made by aytechsee and it used to work but I think it stopped working after I tried one of the eris ports.. Anyone know whats wrong? Ive tried reflashing but it dosent seem to fix the problem. The GPS icon wont even show up on the taskbar like it used too, and yes I have gps enabled in the menu. Same here. I tried Villain, lox's and when I reflash mcr 3.1+3.2, I had no gps icon. I reflashed lox's and got the icon, but no lock on my position.

Now, I did nandroid restore of my old 3.2b5 and I have the icon. Because I'm indoor, I can't test, but I. hope my gps is working.

I had this same problem, tried the same things as you, still didn't work. However, as descenpet said, reflashing the radio fixed the problemed. Good luck!

Tested. My nandroid restore solved my problem so no radio flash for me.

It worked! thanks guys. So wired that this isnt all over the internet, I mean when so many ppl actually had this problem.
