Connectivity with camera and gps

1. Does anybody know if I can connect my Omnia Lite with a Garmin 60csx gps? I want to download data from the gps to the phone. What kind of software and what kind of cable do I need?. The gps has a mini usb port.

I have tried connecting their original cables with a small female-female link and using the G7toCE software. The software was installed ok but it could not recognize the gps. I do not now if it is a software or a cable problem

2. The same with above, can I connect a camera (mini usb) with my Omnia Lite?
