Hi at all,

saw that nice BIOS boot screen on a friends Hero and made something similar for our Nexus One (should be working on other WVGA devices as well):

You can get it over at XDA-Dev - It's a lot easier updating only one thread <_<

AWESOME! someone posted an update.zip on XDA for those wanting to install via recovery.

this looks cool - could somebody quickly explain how to install it? I'm rooted and running Paul's desire rom alpha 14.

i've never installed a boot animation before, and i've searched around to no avail.

Hey robley, it's installed in a second <_<

Just install the signed update zip via Amon Ra's recovery image or push one of the two others to your phone using adb push.

checked it out on a friends' Nexus running Cyanogen, it is indeed running slow(er than Desire A13). I'll look into that.

Can I get the instructions on how to install a boot animation on the nexus one. I want to install a splash one I seen, but can not seem to get how to install it. Please help Im on Alpha 19 desire.
