Hi guys,

After using 3.2b5 for about a month, I've reverted back to 3.1, as i noticed a drop in performance with 3.2 ( although everyone seems to say it is amazing).

I was wondering if you could help me with a couple of things. my phone ha got so much slower and i cant understand why. I wiped my phone, created the partitions again, and installed the rom.

When you wipe (format) an sd card, does it cancel the partitions?

So was i right to do this?

Is there anythign else i need to do with 3.2b5 to maximise it, I'm not sure whether compache should be enabled or disabled, is there still a need to use taskiller?

What class of SD card is it? What brand? If there is sudden degradation of speed I'd be inclined to look in the direction of the SD card if youre using A2SD.

Anyway, using Amon Ra wipe everything-factory reset, dalvik, ext. then still within amon ra re-partition (also formats) - fix ext all the way to ext4, re-install 3.2, and if it's still slow it has to be a hardware issue.

Buy a good class 6 mem card, DON'T format with swap (degrades card v. quickly)
