Guest kahleong888 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 I've installed a custom 6.5 rom on my omnia i900 version pda : i900dxid/28002 phone : i900dxia2 i wished to downgrade back to 6.1 as i did previously , i used dxia5 clear rom to do that on vmware ( from 6.1 custom rom flash back to original rom) but this time, my phone was stucked at the 1st step "downloading e-boot" and i have to remove the phone battery and reboot the phone.. i have tried several time and still resulted the same any recommend? 2nd prob, i coundnt open my camera.. when i click on the camera button or menu, the loading screen couldnt proceed to camera screen.. is it my hardware prob or software prob? looks for recommend and solution please...thanks

Guest jms2367 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 or alternatively if you can use a winxp machine. flash the rom found in the link below: http://www.pspmyspace.com/omnia/2009/04/dx...-clean-rom.html this is the official DXIA5 pda, DXIA2 wm6.1 rom. much safer to flash in a winxp machine. just make sure that the usual drivers are installed (samsung modem drivers and activesync) and all precautions in flashing a rom are followed,

Guest NarutoDKz Posted March 15, 2010 Report Posted March 15, 2010 U could also dissasemble a official rom and use GrandPrix. That's what I did to get my original danish rom back, no problems so far.
