I am a noob and have tried to install the latest update from the acer website, but i noticed that my firmware is totally different from the Gen2, instead it's something like a Singapore custom.

Anyone have any idea wat it is?

And because my is not gen 2, i cannot update/downgrade to 2.000.13

also is there any step by step guide to installing 2.1 to liquid? I only have 1 written for LCR rom, does that work with Evil's Rom?

I've used this one.. works just fine

when you get to the part where you start flashing the update, use Evil D's zipfile instead of the LCR zip.

You want to flash Malez recovery FIRST.....then do a nandroid backup.

But you also need to get a BIN file from Acer for your existing and original ROMs.....so you can go back if you want.

With the Acer firmware, the radio is in every ROM.....so you have to lay down the stock base first, to get the radio right, then flash a modded ROM that uses that level of radio.

I think the main difference between the 2.000.25SGP and the 2.000.13GEN2 is the number of homescreen... I used to have 5 before i move to Gen2...
