HTC HERO paid apps help!

Hello Guys,

I am a bit out of ideas at this point, so I figured I come here :) where I downloaded my ROM and basically keep up to date in news about my Hero to ask this question.

It seems to be official that Canada finally has access to paid Apps in the Market, but for some reason I can't see them. I don't think it may be related to my ROM (MoDaCo 3.0) but figured I asked anyway.

Basically I've done anything I can think of to try to access a paid app.. with no luck.

1) Clear cache "Market App"

2) Restarted phone, multiple times

3) uninstalled "Market Enabler", I had it installed before.

4) search for paid apps, no luck

5) Change networks to wireless, and downloaded app updates just hoping something was wrong with my cache. ;)

I am with Fido, and I have found multiple Fido/Rogers users report they have access to paid apps.

Could anyone give me an idea of what to look for next?

It may be that only the official rom that was installed on your phone, or the latest one you can download from Fido/Rogers will work.

The roms need to be validated for the market, the validation requirements for your area may be very tight.

I did not thought of that, thank you Remington.

It make sense but it really sucks because I don't want to go back to official HTC Room. ;) I will wait a few days and see what happens.

Until then I guess other suggestions/ideas are welcome. :)

try doing a full wipe and reinstalling the rom. if it doesnt work, nandroid it back.

Well I think I got a little overexcited .. My market finally started displaying paid apps... weird.
