Disable repeat meeting notification reminders

Hello there,

I have an Omnia i910, and have been trying everything to disable repeating notifications for meeting notices.

Most of the items on my calendar are set with a default reminder at 15 minutes prior to the start time. If I am in the middle of something, I'd like to be able to ignore it, and acknowledge the reminder at a later time.

So, I navigated to Settings\Sounds & Notifications\Notifications\Reminders - and unchecked Repeat

What is happening, is that if I ignore a notification, the phone will eventually shut off with no further sounds. When I eventually turn the phone back on, it has saved the reminder notice for me. Everything is working great!

However, if there is an existing notification that hasn't been dismissed (previous meeting notice, new email notification, etc.), then the system will repeatedly chime every 2 or 3 minutes until I pull out the phone and dismiss the reminders.

Is there any way to resolve this???
