Upgrade Ideas?

ive had the omnia for quiet some time and must say i love it. but the phone itself is a bit awkward, in that it was built for 6.1 and even flashed to 6.5.3 many of the functionality is the same. there wasnt enough publicity to make it worth while. most my friends cant figure out how to even work it. my upgrade is shortly approaching and ive been looking at many different phones. i want to go to android but would like to see what you all have to say. what phones are recommended. what is the opinion on the Motodroid?

I too am coming up on my update but like others here i see nothing that's even close to what the omnia can do with all the roms its fun to flash and try something different i have been looking at the droids and omnia 2 which if i do go to one i can switch esn to go back to omnia if something catches my eye

I'm going Omnia 2. They made that model SO much better than the Omnia, even down to the headphone jack (standard size so no adapter is needed). I've tested out droid and I don't find the OS to be very user-intuitive but that's just me. I'm a sucker for WinMo.

i am going with the Moto Droid just for the fact that the Dev community is so BIG! My wife is going with the eris for its size and looks.

While I like the O2 it still has one HUGE issue... It runs WINDOWS

Android is Open Source so the options are endless.

But you all will miss out on my roms. Im stuck with the i910 for another year and couple of months. But by upgrade time win7 phones will be out ^^

I'm stuck in my contract for another year also. Looking forward to Windows mobile 7 and 4G. Until then I'll just have to keep enjoying my i910. :)

I don't trust the reliability of Motorola. Every single Moto phone I've had or my husband's had has gone bad.
