MediaPlayer Alternatives

Hello World,

1) I've tried installing TCPMP (my favourite player) with different versions, but I don't get it working on our B7610 in WM6.5... Someone else? What to do?

2) If there's no chance to install it, what player as an alternative would you suggest?

(Schould play: .avi, .xvid, .flv and more)

TCPMP works.. there are at least 2 versions working and 1 of them is in this forum...

I've read this posts, download this version (at the link) and installed TCPMP - It doesn't work "for me"... Maybe because of my standard WM6.5 from Samsung? Don't know...

But I will try SmartMovie and CorePlayer Trial to check out, if they are good enough (or even better :) )

I think this one is the specially skinned version, currently, I am on WM6.5 Megalite. cab installs fine

Originally, I also got 1 running on the standard 6.5 from Samsung, but I also don't know which one.. Actually all the older cabs work but just can't install the cab. Luckily, I kept the installation folder (of 0.81) on My Storage from my old Omnia and it runs. However, try this cab, works on my B7610

Thanks for the cab, new2city!

v0.81 was the one I have tried, too... But I don't know, if there are differences between some installation files of the same version...

But now I'm at work and couldn't download it. I will give it a try, when I'm back home :)

Yup that's the one.. I am surprised the link didn't work.. it was the same cab.. I just googled it, cause I forgot this link to xda ;)

Another problem solved.
